Technology Database
>> Thursday, April 4, 2013
A major part of CAMWorks is the Technology Database. The database is used to define machine parameters, tooling and machining operations and associated settings.
With this information CAMWorks is able to apply your company's best manufacturing practices systemly and automatically. Right out of the box the database contains general tooling and machining processes.
To maximize the benefits that CAMWorks has to offer, it is recommended that you customize your Technology Database to reflect your company's tooling and machining standards.
